Volvo Bendix Valve Recall

The following is a letter we received in regard to a recall issue with 2011 Volvo Trucks, it sounds very dangerous and it appears that the official notice has not been sent out yet so we are passing this information on to our membership.
If you own a 2011 Volvo, we strongly recommend that you contact your dealer to discuss this.
For Volvo trucks (some 26,700 tractors with stability control etc.) built since January 2011, in cold weather full brake applications can happen with NO warning.
Mine did exactly that and kept doing it!
This is a part to temp fix cold weather brake relay valve issues. Requires 2, one for the valve attached to the cross member under the 5th wheel and the second for the trailer valve located under the cab.
I'm told a letter dealing with recalls will come out middle of February. This is a temp fix so I'm guessing they are scrambling to build complete valve assemblies to install later.
The plates received for my tractor look as though they have been robbed from other valves as you can see where bolt heads rubbed the plate. I hear three manufacturers are involved so I guess it will take some time.
If you know a driver with a newer Volvo tractor you may want to pass this along to him.
